Oakley Outdoor
The Challenge:
Design an outdoor shoe that addressed the needs of the Oakley enthusiast.
Oakley's entry into the outdoor market led to the development of new breathable materials, cushioning technologies and aesthetics that crossed over into their travel ware and apparel categories. The Bottle Cap was Oakley's first shoe that drained water, was breathable, was quick drying, supportive and could be laced up in one motion. We would later evolve and adapt these innovations for the US military to help the produce the LSA 1 and LSA2 boots for the Navy Seals.
